1) When did you become a Villa fan and why?

My dad took me to Wolves v Crystal Palace when I was about 10 and he is a Wolves supporter, but they lost 2-1. I wasn’t much interested in football before then, but I looked at the clubs around me and Villa excited me most so I followed them!

2) What is your favourite Villa moment of all time/most treasured memory?

Unfortunately I haven’t been a fan while we’ve had any major successes, the most ‘success’ we’ve had while I’ve supported them was reaching the League Cup final a few years back!

3) If you could bring back a former Villa player into this team (at his peak) who would it be and why?

I’ve seen a lot of people going for the old Villa heroes but as a more contemporary fan I’ve got to go with James Milner at the moment. Or Laursen. Both are JUST what we needed last season.

4) Paul Lambert? Your opinion please?

He inherited a club in trouble, I think he’s doing a great job. We always say we’re in transition but last season and this season truly are transitional seasons, with the season after this being where we’ll see our true potential. He definitely deserves to be with us for a good few more years with the policy he’s brought to the club. Even if relegated.

5) Best and worst moments of last season?

The 1-3 Liverpool win and 6-1 Sunderland demolition are of course the fond memories, and I couldn’t stand to watch the 8-0 drubbing by Chelsea…

6) Some say last season was a success, others not so much. What is your opinion?

We brought in a few players that worked, some that didn’t. Every season will be like that. The best part about last season was the high-wage earners not getting to play, making way for our future.

7) Your opinion of Randy Lerner and the board?

It’s shown that he’ll put funds up when they’re needed, definitely more so than when Ellis was around. Maybe he sells his prized assets a bit easily…

8) Which player/s should Villa sign this summer?

We’ve already signed 4 when I’m writing this (Okore, Bacuna, Helenius, Tonev), but I’d LOVE to see us sign Belhanda and a class young keeper. I know the Belhanda rumours are mostly garbage but he’d be amazing in place of Sylla.

9) Which player/s should Villa get rid of this summer?

The same old culprits; Given, Hutton, Bent, Ireland. I’d say Bannan, Albrighton, and Delfouneso can go too, our younger academy kids look better than them.

10) Favourite current player?

Matty Lowton, what a player.

11) Who was your first footballing hero and who are your favourite all time player/s?

This is not a proud moment, but Thomas Sorenson was my hero. I was a kid and I wanted to play Goalkeeper, and I thought he was great. Now on reflection… different story. Favourite all time player, again, I’m not one for old players really but fat Ronaldo was amazing at his prime.

12) What do you expect us to do/finish this season?

Premier League: top 10, perhaps a cheeky dash towards Europa League places.
FA Cup: 5th round
Carling: quarters

13) You can ask yourself any question you want to about Villa and what is your answer?

The new kit? I actually prefer the away kit to the home kit! The side panels on the home kit just don’t look right.

14) Just to change the theme slightly, a snap shot of you outside of football, answer or ignore at your leisure:
(based on our WHO ARE YOU thread!!!)

a) Which celebrity/s would you most like to meet and why? Jay Kay of Jamiroquai, seems like a class guy.
b) Age 19
c) Location: Kidderminster/Worcester
d) Favourite alcoholic drink: Henry Westons cider
e) Favourite non-alcoholic drink: Water
f) Favourite Film/s: Couldn`t choose
g) Favourite TV Show/s: Lost, Game of Thrones, Doctor Who
h) Music?: Everything!
i) Best ever moment in your life: being mentioned on Pendulum’s third album’s cover insert
j) Ambitions: big games company, big Ultimate player
k) Wise words: It only ends once, everything else is just progress.
