1) When did you become a Villa fan and why?

Born in Heathfield road maternity hospital couldn’t really support anyone else! I moved to Aldridge when I was 3. My first game was a night match 1960 sat on my dad’s shoulders in the Witton end it rained all night couldn’t believe how many people were there. First away game was Derby County aged 14 didn’t tell mum or dad I was hooked forever.

2) What is your favourite Villa moment of all time/most treasured memory?

I have lots been to see the Villa all over Europe Anderlecht away, Rotterdam was unbelievable as you’d expect. Tried to go watch us in Tokyo World club championship with my redundancy money but ended up buying a kitchen instead.

3) If you could bring back a former Villa player into this team (at his peak) who would it be and why?

Can’t pick one as I have seen so many players, but if I had to Sir Dennis Mortimer really top draw captain and loved the club.

4) Paul Lambert? Your opinion please?

Let him get on with it, don’t think I would want to cross this man in anyway shape or form take note Benteke!

5) Best and worst moments of last season?

Best-Sunderland at Home 6-1-told my son that someone was in for a hammering and boy did we.

Worst- Too many to pick Bradford away and home was a massive low.

6) Some say last season was a success, others not so much. What is your opinion?

Most important thing was not to be relegated no matter how we played for most of the season get as many points as we possibly could. I have been from the top to the bottom and back again with this club last season really is best forgot lets move forward and upward.

7) Your opinion of Randy Lerner and the board?

Love to meet the guy and ask him how much his divorce cost him and has it affected the way we do our business in the transfer market. We all know divorces can be quite expensive think he has got the club at heart but he needs ‘villa people’ around him. Faulkner just keep getting us business and money in keep your nose out of the football.

8) Which player/s should Villa sign this summer?

Hopefully Lambert will unearth more gems, I think it was Ron Saunders when he came to Villa park who said ‘There will be players that come to the club that will make us great and some will make us money when transferred’

9) Which player/s should Villa get rid of this summer?

The usual suspects Given,Bent,Ireland etc…

10) Favourite current player?

Andreas Weimann-with more experience he will score even more goals for us.

11) Who was your first footballing hero and who are your favourite all time player/s?

My first was probably Gerry Hitchens and then Charlie Aitkin,Brian Godfrey,Bruce Rioch,Brian Little,Andy Gray, Gary Shaw, Dennis Mortimer the list goes on…

12) What do you expect us to do/finish this season?

Premier: 10th
FA Cup: Final winners. The only thing I haven`t seen them win, was too young to go, dad had tickets
Capital One: quarter finals

13) You can ask yourself any question you want to about Villa and what is your answer?

At nearly sixty years of age, why do I put myself through all this torture? Just because they are my club and my team and always will be villa till I die.

14) Just to change the theme slightly, a snap shot of you outside of football, answer or ignore at your leisure:
