1 – How long have you been a Villa fan and how did you first get the Claret & Blue faith?

Since I was 4 or 5, and my Step Dad got me started.

2 – What was your first game?

Bradford at home at the back end of the season 1988 when we were promoted back to the top flight.

3 – What is your most memorable moment as a Villa fan?

Kent Neilsons goal against Inter as viewed from the front row of the Holte.

4 – And the worst moment?

The Enkelman game.

5 – Who are your favourite current Villa players?

Ashley Young, Davies and Carew. Carew just really seems to enjoy playing here and despite the perception of opposing fans, on his day he is unplayable with the ball at his feet.

6 – Which former player/s are your ultimate heroes?

Sid Cowans and Ian Taylor.

7 – Which player do you think was the worst to ever put on the team colours?

Nii Lamptey. Came on for his debut and fell over right in front of me in the Witton. Never saw him again.

8 – What is the best goal you have seen Villa score and which is your favourite game?

Obviously over the years goals from Deano, Dalian and Merse stand out. But the best goal for me was last year against Bolton at Villa Park with Gabby finishing some fantastic passing. If Arsenal had scored it the BBC would have wet themselves.

9 – Best away ground visited?

Walkers. (I’ve only been to crap ones!)

10 – Best summer signing and who would you most like us to sign in January?

Luke Young has fitted in instantly but I expect Cuellar to become a big player for us. I would like to see a couple of quality strikers come in, preferably players that offer us something we dont have, so we can mix it up a bit. Despite other peoples doubts about them, any two from Doyle, Bent and Ashton would do me.

11 – What are your predictions for us this season in the:
a)League -5th
b)Europe – QF
c)FA Cup – 4th Round

12 – What is your opinion of Martin O’Neill?

He seems to think of everything. He seems to see everything that should be happening and gets the players working on it. Admittedly that then takes time to iron out the problems once identified but he seems to get there eventually. A perfect example was that in his first season everyone was moaning because we conceded a lot from set pieces and we had no aerial dominance. He then proceeded to sign 3 players over 6ft 4. Only 2 out of the 3 were the right players but thats my point. He identified and attempted to rectify.

13 – What is your opinion of Randy Lerner and the new board?

I think Randy and his team are men of the highest calibre and that reflects in everything they do. True class in every sense.

14 – Where do you sit at Villa and are you a season ticket holder?

These days I sit in the Lower North where I have my season ticket

15 – And finally if you could invite 4 people connected to Villa, living or dead, to a dinner party, who would they be? And you can add one bit of top totty as well to make the party go with a ‘bang’ ;o)

Merse, Gregory, Big Ron and Doug Ellis with Charlize Theron giving me something to look at. I can’t imagine a better crack than Doug’s bullshit and the other three’s wit.

With thanks to Coeur De Lion
