1 – How long have you been a Villa fan and how did you first get the Claret & Blue faith?
As long as I can remember – my pappy and grandpappy are lifelong fans so it was instilled into me at birth!
2 – What was your first game?
The home leg of the FA Youth Cup Final vs Man City in 1980(ish). The Villa Youth Team won 3-0 if I am not mistaken
3 -What is your most memorable moment as a Villa fan?
The ball hitting ‘that shin`
4 – And the worst moment?
Losing in the FA Cup Final surrounded by Blues fans (Chelsea and Noses) in Singapore – so far away from a claret shoulder to cry on!
5 – Who are your favourite current Villa players?
Martin Laursen for being the ultimate professional and Ashley Young for being by far the best winger in the Premier League (wake up Fabio and smell the macchiato)
6 – Which former player/s are your ultimate heroes?
Gary Shaw for what could have been and Paul McGrath for what was.
7 – Which player do you think was the worst to ever put on the team colours?
Bosko
8 – What is the best goal you have seen Villa score and which is your favourite game?
I was really fortunate to be at Selhurst Park when Dalian Atkinson put that goal away (singing in the rain?)
9 – Best away ground visited?
Old Trafford since I have not been to the Emirates yet but I hear that is the DB`s
10 – Best summer signing and who would you most like us to sign in January?
For future potential – James Milner
Value for money – Steve Sidwell
We need another striker although I am not sure Kevin Doyle is right for us
11 – What are your predictions for us this season in the:
a)League – 5th
b)Europe – Quarter Finals
c)FA Cup – 5th Round
12 – What is your opinion of Martin O’Neill?
An excellent man manager who I hope stays longer than his standard 5 years
13 – What is your opinion of Randy Lerner and the new board?
Got to hand it to Douglas – he kept his word and left the club in safe hands. We are a club that is envied by all of the teams below us.
14 – Where do you sit at Villa and are you a season ticket holder?
Used to stand in the Upper Holte (Right Side) but since I now live in Malaysia that`s a little more difficult. I have attended one game this season in the Upper Trinity (a 12,000 mile round trip).
15 – And finally if you could invite 4 people connected to Villa, living or dead, to a dinner party, who would they be? And you can add one bit of top totty as well to make the party go with a ‘bang’ ;o)
Randy Lerner (cos I`ve never heard the guy speak!), Ron Atkinson (no racism please Ron), Peter Withe (that shin) and Martin the Man.
Top Totty would be Jo Guest aged about 21 – yeah I was a currant bun fan!
