1 – How long have you been a Villa fan and how did you first get the Claret & Blue faith?

Since I was born officially, as my family are all Villa fans, really only got into football around 1990!

2 – What was your first game?

The first game I can remember seeing was against Birmingham in the league cup where we beat them 1-0 at the sty and 1-0 at VP.

I have some good memories of being jumped on from about 10 steps up in the old Holte!

3 – What is your most memorable moment as a Villa fan?

Beating Chelsea in the cup at Villa Park, couldn’t stop singing!

4 – And the worst moment?

The first derby games, losing through Encleman et al….

5 – Who are your favourite current Villa players?

Laursen, so pleased that he is now fit, what a difference he makes. Bouma as he works hard and never complains and Carew, just a great man.

6 – Which former player/s are your ultimate heroes?

Paul McGrath (of course) Olof Mellberg (what a beard! And the obvious joy he displayed at beating blues 5-1 when he was subbed)

7 – Which player do you think was the worst to ever put on the team colours?

Close toss-up between Milan Baros (so wasted) and Djembax2

8 – What is the best goal you have seen Villa score and which is your favourite game?

Best goal was Angel’s against Chelsea in the cup, you just knew it was going in when he let it go. Best game i’ve seen at VP was against Inter last season when we absolutely destroyed the Italian elite. I would have said the 5-1 which I had tickets for, but last minute couldn’t go, as my mate (flown in from Holland to watch) had food poisoning. GUTTED!

9 – Best away ground visited?

Erm, haven’t really – I went to Northampton Town for Ian Taylor’s last game, but it wasn’t with the Villa…. Its not a bad ground tbh

10 – Who would you like to see Villa sign this summer?

BARRY to stay, Sidwell, Robinson, a RB, Bentley, anyone that O’Neill rates tbh.

11 – What are your predictions for us this season in the:
a) League
5th-6th

b) Europe Semi’s of Uefa

c) Carling Cup Semi’s / Final

d) Fa Cup 3rd round Man United Fix again

12 – What is your opinion of Martin O’Neill?

I really like Martin, both in mannerisms and the pure exuberance of the man. He enjoys his job, and wants us to do well. A million times better than O’leary. Yes, he drags out the transfers, but so far, I haven’t really had any reason to complain with any of his real purchases.

13 – What is your opinion of Randy Lerner and the new board?

Can’t believe how lucky we are, the changes at Villa Park are everywhere. He takes a proper interest without being overbearing. By far the best foreign management in the league. And hats’off to the General, I certainly can’t read his thread sometimes without getting annoyed, how he keeps doing it amazes me. I hope people truly realize how lucky we are.

14 – Where do you sit at Villa and are you a season ticket holder?

I don’t have a season ticket, purely due to family reasons, hopefully when I’m older i’ll be able to get one, I try and go a few times a season, when work and home gives me chance, but I always try to get a seat in the Holte, there’s nowhere else quite like it. Although, the only stand I haven’t been in was the Trinity.

15 – And finally (stolen without shame from Vital Arsenal!) if you could invite 4 people connected to Villa, living or dead, to a dinner party, who would they be? And you can add one bit of top totty as well to make the party go with a ‘bang’ ;o)

Martin O’Neill, I just love listening to him talk. Paul McGrath, his book was fascinating and I’d like to hear more of his difficult life. John Gregory, some may disagree, but I thought he did well for Villa, and I’d just like to know what really went on behind the boardroom door. Finally it would have to be, David O’Leary, so I could punch him, no sorry, waste of time, I would have Ian Taylor, for another fan point of view.

Totty, hmmm, Sandra Bullock… just because……
