The Aston Villa Foundation have been nominated for the ‘Charity of the Year’ award at the Midlands Business and Community Charity Awards, taking place at Villa Park.

Head of the foundation, Guy Rippon said:

“You will hopefully all be aware of the journey that the Foundation has been on over the last couple of years, with a staff team now of nearly 90 people delivering over 250 sessions each week to people aged 2-100 years old. One of our main objectives has been to create a Foundation and a programme of work by the club in the local community that Aston Villa Fans are proud of and we are very grateful of the support that we have received from you in raising awareness and support for our work.

We would be very grateful if you could share this information through your networks and respective platforms. There are a number of excellent charities that are also nominated, so we would encourage anyone voting to take a full look through those charities and make an objective decision. If you feel that the Foundation did deserve this award, we would be very appreciative of your support.”

Votes can be made through the following linkhttps://midlandsbccawards.co.uk/vote-now/. To vote you will need to go through all of the categories (you won’t need to vote in all categories, only ones you want to) and input a few bits of information before your voting is submitted. Voting closes on July 19th, 5pm.
