Reports have linked Albert Adomah with a move to Newcastle in recent days, although it is believed that the Magpies have yet to make contact about signing our no.37.
The 30-year-old chipped in with a fair few goals last season (15 in total), and losing so many goals from midfield would present an issue for Steve Bruce.
I decided to gauge fan opinion on whether we should let the Ghanaian international leave, and the majority felt that selling the winger may be needed in order to bring in some money:
Of course, we do have youngsters like Corey Blackett-Taylor and Andre Green who could come in to play on the wings. Jonathan Kodjia could also do a job out wide. However, losing both Adomah and Snodgrass would have a major impact on our attack.
The pair scored and created 43 goals between them last season, and it’s hard to argue that we would be short of firepower without them. However, as many supporters have indicated, the financial situation may mean we will have no choice in the matter.
What do you think? Should Adomah be allowed to leave this summer? Let me know in the comments.
