Andi Weimann has said he can’t wait to get back out in front of the Villa Park crowd, as despite enjoying his time of, he’s missed us…collective aaahhhhhh.
Speaking to the Official Site ahead of our home friendly of the summer against Malaga, Weimann said he’d been enjoying pre season and he was happy with his form having found the net three times so far.
‘It’s the last game before the season starts so we’re looking forward to it and hopefully we can make a good performance. Everyone is looking forward to playing at Villa Park because we’ve not played there this pre season so I’m sure that will be good. Malaga have a good team but we’ll be very up for it.’
As for his own pre season so far, he added.
‘It’s always nice to get a few goals too even if it’s just pre season. I’ve scored three so far so we’ll see how it goes when the season starts for real. They have been different types of goals too.’
