Andy Weimann has talked about his debut league goal and the fantastic work the club do with Acorns.

Speaking to the Official Site Weimann said of his goal firstly:

‘I told myself when I came on the pitch that I would get at least one chance, which I did and I’m delighted that it proved to be the winning goal. It was a brilliant feeling and the mood in the dressing room afterwards and at the training ground today was and is really positive. It’s a great feeling.’

Fulham was obviously our most recent Acorns Day and following the game we have so far raised £46,000 for the charity out of the target of £50,000.

‘The win against Fulham was made extra special by the fact that it was Acorns Day. The relationship we have at the Club with Acorns is a really close one. We are trying to raise £50,000 which is enough money to run an Acorns hospice for a week and we’re nearly there.’
