Paul Lambert has said Villa will be ready for the tests against Arsenal and Liverpool.
With pre season training full tilt ahead Lambert told the Official Site that he wasn’t bothered about the ‘names’ we face at the start of the season, as we have to play them at somepoint anyway.
‘You have to be ready. We’ve got Arsenal on the first day, we were unlucky down there last year. So we’ll go down there and be ready for it.’
Will we get revenge for the 2-1 loss this time round?
Everybody will be betting on Arsenal to get the three points but IF we are ready and the sun smiles on us, we’re more than capable of causing an upset.
We proved as much last season, so if we can stop conceeding soft goals, anything is possible.
