Westwood – Positive Comments + New Contract

www.avfc.co.uk have confirmed that Ashley Westwood has put pen to paper on a new four year deal keeping him at Villa until 2017.

He makes some very nice positive comments as well, always nice to read:

‘I love being here and I’m delighted to be part of a great football club. You look at the players the manager has brought to the Club and they’re all young and hungry. I just want to be part of that and hopefully we’re building something special here.”



He also says the fans stood by the team last year adding,

‘For any young English player to play in the Premier League is what you want to do. To be a part of it with Villa is something special. From day one, everyone at the Club from the kit man to the fans and players have helped me settle in and made me feel at home straight away. I’m surprised in a way that supporters have taken to me so quickly because I’m plain and simple really. But they’ve taken to me and they’re very knowledgable fans, so that’s helped me a great deal and it’s motivation every time I step on the pitch.’
