Ashley Westwood’s speculated move to Burnley has now been confirmed as done and dusted.
The Official Site have just confirmed the deal and fee is undisclosed, the media continue to report it’s in the £5million region.
Westwood has been at Burnley’s training ground since about 2pm to sort out his medical and the contract, and he’s signed for them until the summer of 2020.
Having joined from Crewe Alexandra back in 2012 he leaves with 161 appearances in total with a return of five goals, and under Roberto Di Matteo and Steve Bruce this campaign he’s made 22 appearances.
