This may be a pretty bad idea for an article but I was just thinking lately. What if we didn’t sign anyone? It won’t be a very good thing at all or would it?

In pre-season we haven’t been looking all too impressive but of course Warnock, Heskey and Milner are now all back, but they won’t feature against Walsall.

The formation that I think would be interesting for this season is a 4-4-1-1 formation with A. Young on a free role and Agbonlahor upfront. Our midfield will look different however and if Milner does stay then I suggest that he continues to play in centre and Reo-Coker play on the right. He has played there before and I believe that he did a great job on the right against Tottenham a few seasons’ ago.

Now I haven’t based this whole article of our same squad as last year. I think that almost all Villa fans believe that Milner will move to Man City. If this is the case then I think that we will get Ireland or buy Flamini.

But for instance if we didn’t sign anyone else apart from that player? I also think that we could give our youngster’s a go in the Premier League. Albrighton, Delfouneso, Delph and Lichaj. May sound like a crazy idea but I think that we could have more of a exciting team if we changed our formation and introduced more of our younger players. Our younger players could be our new signings in my opinion.

This would not only save money but also give us more cash for January and next season. We have always lacked quality towards the end of the season and if we brought in more players in January then we would finish of stronger and not suffer as many defeats.
