With Jonathan Kodjia confirmed to be out of the match tomorrow, we can surely expect Albert Adomah to make a return to the starting eleven after being on the bench last time out.

The line up could then allow Lewis Grabban to make the move back into a central area after being shunted out wide by the manager against Leeds.

His vital winning goal ended a five-game barren spell, and he has proven to be a good addition since his arrival on loan at the end of the last transfer window.

Although Kodjia’s all-round game will be missed, the additional firepower with both Lewis and our top goalscorer back in the side, could prove to be very important.

Over the past month or so, we have only really let rip against Reading, with goals hard to come by in our last seven matches since the Wolves demolition. Ipswich should be there for the taking considering Mich McCarthy has left Portman Road.

We head into the game with two solid 1-0 wins but to really get us over the line (and probably heading into the playoffs on the right footing), we need to reel off a few convincing wins.

No doubt, tomorrow’s game is the easiest on paper, but with tough looking fixtures against fellow playoff contenders Derby and Millwall coming up, we can really send out a statement to others in the top six with some good late season performances.

With Grabban (having 17 for both us and Sunderland this campaign) and Albert’s 14 in the league, they can seriously cause the opposition damage.

Who knows, if both Fulham and Cardiff slip up in the next few games, we may still finish second, and the best way for us to take advantage of any missteps, is to be positive and head out with the intention of scoring goals as we reach the final crucial stages of the campaign.
