46% of those that voted said that the player Villa HAVE to keep hold of is Gareth Barry. This followed a poll suggested by Tall_Paul, where we asked: If Villa have to sell, who would you prefer stay?

24% said Czech Republic international striker Milan Baros.
20% young Northern Ireland international midfielder Steven Davis.

The rest were made up of 4% for rookie striker Luke Moore who was linked to Fulham recently, 4% for Columbian striker Juan Pablo Angel and only 2% saying Lee Hendrie who is being linked to a Villa Park exit with Sheffield United apparently very interested.

Gareth Barry has this morning been linked to a Spurs move. More to come on that one…

  • Fatloser, I totaly agree about the pricing, especially as Chelsea want £5 million for Huth who has basically spent 2 seasons on the bench. But as far as bringing in replacements is concerned, Arsene Wenger has shown time after time what a good scouting/
