We have had some brilliant strikers down the years, but which one would you most like to see back at Villa Park? – we are asking you this very question in our latest poll.

Maybe you would love to have Dalian Atkinson rolling back the years and going on another winding run through a team and scoring a peach of a goal for the Villa.

Or perhaps its Dean Saunders that you liked most, the former Liverpool man’s goals could come in handy in our current side.

Dion Dublin was extremely popular with the fans, at his peak its hard to argue against the fact he was one of the Premiership’s greats.

12 years on you still might not be able to forgive Dwight Yorke for what he did but you wouldn’t mind seeing him back at the club where he made his name.

Juan Pablo Angel had that one great season, but he also managed double figures on at least 2 other occasions, maybe the Colombian is just what Ashley Young and Stewart Downing need to be aiming for in the box.

Kevin Phillips never really got a chance, but he knew where the back of the net is. He is currently at St Andrews but would you forgive him that and have him starting in our team?

Luc Nilis never had a chance to really show us how good a player he was going to be, maybe remembering that goal at Chelsea can convince you to vote for him?

Milan Baros arrived from Liverpool with a great reputation, he scored goals galore for club and country but never really hit the goal trail at Villa for whatever reason, would he get your vote though?

Peter Crouch has gone on to become a very good player but the dangly youngster we had all those years ago, would you have him back?

So get voting, who at their peak would you most like to see in our current side?

If none of the above do anything for you, please vote Other – Savo Milosevic, Tommy Johnson, Julian Joachim and Stan Collymore (among others) are represented with this option. Not to mention Marlon Harewood of course……
