Win the new Villa shirt on Vital Villa.

How I hear you all cry?

Just keep on joining in!

The OFFICIAL SITE have revealed the new kit modelled by Villa captain Gareth Barry:

Which to me looks a great kit. Thank goodness for that, couldn’t have taken anymore shocks but this is a good, simple, traditional Villa kit and also has a nice lion on the back of the neck as you can see here on the official site also: Click Here

The away kit is also pictured on the official site now: Click Here

Anyway, what of the competition?

Well, anyone who posts from now up to when they go on sale (can’t see the date for that) will be put in the hat (proverbial, maybe I should call it a cyber hat, that said, maybe I should call it Tom) and one lucky winner can tell me whether they want the home or away shirt and I’ll get it ordered and delivered for them.

If you aren’t already a member of Vital Villa, why not join up?

  • No, maybe that will be put up later? If it is anything like the home one though, we’ll be laughing. Anyone know what colour the away kit is going to be or has there been no mention?

  • Im gladd i missed school for this… shh dont tell my teachers even though it is my last day! Woo!

  • That’ll definately be the first Villa kit I have bought in years! Top notch!

Can I urge you all to please buy the HOME kit and not the away no matter how nice it is! Villa Park would look stunning as a sea of Claret & Blue!!!

  • I’ll definitely be buying the home kit. (If i don’t win it)
And maybe the away kit if it’s anywhere near as good as the home one.

  • Yeah, this will be the first home kit in ages I have bought, and if ht away is a decent ’82 replica I’ll get that too!

  • classy looking top which will be getting bought as soon as its out defo! wish i had it 2 wear out over here in costa del sol though suppose will have to make do with my Withe Legend one instead in meantime. UTV

  • I think that it’s beautiful kit, and people who are saying it’s lazy clearly don’t know Villa.

Not sure yet though, as i don’t have enough cash to buy both (being a student), so i might have to wait and see just how nice the away kit is before i decide.

  • Anyone know the lifespan of the kit – is it going to do two seasons?? Actually come to think of it have we ever had a home shirt last two seasons running????

  • Looks classy. I like it. The revised badge will show quite prominently on the shirt, while the actual shirt design is quite sharp. A classy outfit, for a classy act. Old Gareth could have become a male model. He’s definitely got the panache.

  • Anyone go to the ‘major’ media event today? Any reports to what happened? Is it still continuing… and are new players going to be unveiled in the new away strip? Is the away strip going to be unvielded today – or is a marketing/statement gaff that that Villa have made today on the o/s? PLEASE, lets not go back to our old ways Villa, I thought ‘WE START TODAY’? (Anyone know what that is supposed to signify if anything?)

  • Like the new strip, and I think the badge looks good on it. Like a traditional claret body blue sleeves and that’s how it should be!… no chevrons thank *****!

  • Is that the new entrance to Villa Park behind Gareth? Opponents coming into the VP Colosseum & put to the sword!
oh yeah, the kit looks a bit of alright as well.
