Earlier this week reports suggested that Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was willing to give on loan Aston Villa defender Axel Tuanzebe a proper crack at Old Trafford next season.
To save overly repeating the story or my original thoughts, I’ll simply copy the piece in.
Manager Reportedly Ready To Give Villa Loanee A Shot Next Season
Given how the 21-year-old has begun to really show his worth for us this season following the arrival of head coach Dean Smith and his switch to the heart of defence, the news is naturally worrying and disappointing as plenty of fans were hoping we’d be able to do a deal for him this summer as we plan for our own future and rebuild.
As previously said, this doesn’t necessarily put a block on a return next season – after all, Smith himself will want to see a few of our loanees in sessions before deciding their own fates next campaign, so this isn’t unusual.
The reaction from fans was interesting though and if Tuanzebe has enjoyed his more recent time with us as you’d expect, the reaction itself will only cement the kind of club we are, as if a permanent deal isn’t to be in the coming month – most simply wish him thanks and their best.
Deserves his chance lads got a great future ????????????

He’s a good player he deserves it

I’m not surprised, he’s better than what they have at the moment! Fitness seems to be an ongoing issue though.

At the end of the day he's not our player, he's got bags of potential and would wish him all the best for wherever he is playing next season
