Young Right-Back To Villa Park?

According to the Mirror today, Aston Villa are looking with interest in Leicester City right-back, Richard Stearman

Apparently O’Neill’s assistant manager John Robertson was sent to watch the 19-year-old play against Leeds this week and a bid in January is being mooted.

The 6’2′ full back has already played 58 games for Leicester and is thought to be ready to make the step up to the Premiership.

Would be great to see this policy of bringing in the youngest and brightest talents so Villa not only build for now but also for the future. Far more exciting to see a team built like this rather than the money bags approach of Abramovich, although a few top notch signings will be nice as well! 😉
