Second stringer Ebby Nelson-Addy has gone on trial at St Johnstone with an eye to a loan until the end of the season.

Nelson-Addy joins up with the Scottish club for a week, and boss Steve Lomas told the press.

‘We have Ebby up here, I like to have young players around. Villa are renowned for their youth academy and I know Gordon Cowans and Kevin McDonald, who have played a massive part in their success. We are just having a look at Ebby and he can see what we are all about.’

The 19 year old midfielder could do with a spell out to get some first team experience, so fingers crossed it goes well for him.
