Even with Steve Bruce’s future still up in the air, the rumour mill seems to continue on regardless. The Daily Mail are reporting that we are one of four teams keeping tabs on Josh Windass.

The Rangers midfielder could be available for just £3m, and after scoring 18 goals in Scotland last season, it seems the 24-year-old’s services are in demand.

I asked fans whether Windass would be a good signing and the majority thought he could prove a decent buy:

The attacking midfielder can play as a number ten or out wide and is likely someone we are considering as a replacement for Jack Grealish.

Our no.10’s future is still uncertain with Tottenham having not made an acceptable bid for the 22-year-old. The Daily Telegraph believe a deal could still be done to sell our talisman for £30m, but it remains to be seen whether Spurs will match our valuation.
