That`ll be a no then! Forum thread: Click Here where Silhillvilla said:

We cannot disrupt the momentum and camaraderie this current squad has built. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a togetherness of a villa team like we’ve got now. Steve Bruce deserves massive credit for what’s been achieved.

Such difficult times for Steve Bruce at the moment with the sad news of his father passing. Makes football feel a bit irrelevant, however, it is a nice boost for him here that he`s won the manager of the month award. Some nice little facts in this article as well!

Want to see us get them on the back foot, really test their defense, especially as they have injury worries.

I thought this was worth pointing out.

We bemoaned – quite rightly – the fall and fall of Villa Park being a place that other teams feared coming to. In fact, in our rel , releg… I find that word too hard to say, the memory remains bitter… in the year we dropped to the Championship, most teams saw a visit to Villa Park as three points because we had such a soft underbelly.

Aston Villa owner Dr Tony Xia has again taken to social media today and he seems to have sent a less than subtle hint to a couple of players ahead of the Birmingham City clash this weekend. Hosting the blue part of the City at Villa Park on midday Sunday for our latest Championship clash, everyone is aware of what the game means in terms of bragging rights, but also – and some would say more importantly – victory would drive us three points closer to automatic promotion and push them three points closer to a return to League One. Such a difficult time for the gaffer, Steve Bruce after the passing of his father. I hope whatever he does on Sunday in relation to the game v Blues, is the right thing for himself on Sunday. I`m sure we`ll understand if he isn`t there and all sing for him if he is. www.bbc.co.uk have quotes from assistant manager Colin Calderwood saying they hope he will be there and that this week, part of their job, has been to help Steve. ‘Stephen Clemence, Gary Walsh, Steve Agnew and myself have to get the team to Sunday and we hope Steve will be there with us.’ Adding, ‘We’re in contact with him daily. He will pick the team and we will be ready without his presence this week, but his presence is always there with the players anyway.’ Read more: Steve Bruce – More Than Likely To Be At Villa Park Sunday

Thought for the day: “Apparently you can’t use ‘beefstew’ as a password. It’s not stroganoff.’
