The draw for the first round of this season’s EFL Cup took place earlier this morning in Vietnam.
Thankfully for the competition’s sponsor, it wasn’t a repeat of last season’s shenanigans where the likes of Charlton were drawn both home and away against different sides, and they weren’t alone in ‘technical’ hitches either.
