New manager Steve Bruce has been reflecting on the challenge ahead of him following another very mixed performance against Wolverhampton Wanderers today in the derby encounter.
With Villa hosting Wolves at Villa Park, and it being Bruce’s first game in charge, an early Jonathan Kodjia penalty looked to be the perfect start for the new man in charge, but Wolves were level with a penalty of their own just after the half hour mark and in the second half, well, it was an all too familiar showing and Bruce now knows first half what he’s up against.
Speaking to BBC Radio WM in his post game press conference the gaffer stated ‘I’ve realised how big this club is after 48 hours.’
