ASTON VILLA FPA SUPPORTS ‘KidsOut` CHARITY

Former players attended the ‘black-tie` dinner held at Villa Park on Thursday 13th May, to raise funds for the KidsOut charity, which helps thousands of children every year across the UK who are affected by disadvantage.

Over 500 attendees participated in a superbly run ‘Question of Sport` competition, expertly hosted by former world snooker champion and BBC TV QOS captain John Parrott MBE. Other fundraising games and an auction, which included a bid of £1,400 to play a charity match against the Aston Villa Old Stars, helped to raise over £50,000 on the night.

Representing the former players association were Jimmy Brown, Karl Court, Alan Deakin, Pat Heard, Ken McNaught, Chris Nicholl, Neil Rioch, and Steve Staunton.

MORE FPA SUPPORT FOR A GREAT CAUSE

Former ‘Holte End Hero` Chico Hamilton and Neil Rioch were guests at the Federation of Master Builders` ‘Charity Spring Ball` held at the Burlington Hotel, Birmingham on Saturday 15th May.
