Baros Back?

Baros might be back! He is hoping to figure in the weekends match against his former club Liverpool at Villa Park.

Baros, who is returning from a hamstring injury says he has nothing to prove:

‘I can’t wait to face Liverpool. I have nothing to prove what happened is that I moved and you have to move in football if you want to play first team football. I always had a good relationship with the Liverpool fans and I’ll always support them. I want to do my best for Villa and the fans and that’s all. Of course there will be a special motivation because it’s my former club and I’ve still got a lot of friends there.’

Adding: ‘I want to score in every game but it doesn’t matter whether I score what matters is three points and if we could beat them it would be great. If I could score against them, it would be great, but only from the point of view that I want to score in every game. If I don’t score, then hopefully someone else will.’
Baros also contradicts O’Leary denying that he played whilst injured:

‘I didn’t have an injection to my Achilles, I had an injection but not to my Achilles. I’d do the same again – the leg was OK. I trained without any painkillers on the Thursday and Friday and my leg was OK. But I got a kick to the same place in the game against Holland and the leg got worse. I had to stop. I wouldn’t play if I felt anything in my leg. I could’ve played in the Finland game with painkillers but I didn’t want to damage it any more. If I hadn’t have had a kick, I’d have been fit and able to play all the games after that.’

Seems to be a lot of players not agreeing with what O’Leary has to say recently. Hmmm, surely not another dressing room split Mr O?
