Aston Villa have confirmed a select XI will face conference side Basingstoke in a pre season friendly.
It’s highly unlikely the squad will contain more than 2 or 3 regular first teamers, but it’ll be a good chance to see the reserves and some of the academy lads in action again.
The game takes place on 18 July with a 2pm kick off at The Camrose and no doubt Basingstoke will be up for it as they put last years disappointing 15th place finish behind them.
