Tut tut, Patrik Berger has been a naughty boy.

It has been revealed by Villa boss Martin O’Neill that he allowed Berger to leave Villa and go on loan to Stoke after breaching club rules earlier in the week.

Unfortunately no juicy details have been revealed but O’Neill did say:

‘The call came late yesterday, just before the deadline, and after disciplining Patrik earlier this week, he was not in my plans for the foreseeable future.

‘So I thought it was in everyone’s best interests to let Patrik go out on loan and he links-up with Lee Hendrie at Stoke.’

Looks like the end of his so called career at Villa no matter how you look at it as his contract finishes at the end of this season.

  • Berger is a money grabbing barsteward, him and baros must not want to be at Villa, it must be Czech thing?
DJ, Baros abd Berger out in January

  • Berger has stretched the patience of MON just that little bit too far. As if all the time spent in the treatment room (not overlooking last season also) wasn’t wearing the boss man down somewhat, Berger now seemingly has to chance his luck a little bit fu

  • Fall out with MON and your off to Stoke !!! Never done anything at Villa, poor signing, past his best never seemed bothered, expect the Chipmunk to be next!!!

  • God what a miss he will be at the Villa, two members of the physio team will looking for a job now the workload has decreased.

  • A very poor signing but what do you expect when the manager has to scrape the bottom of the barrel. Lets hope thats the end of Dougonomics forever.
