Martin O’Neill says Villa are NOT set to allow 24-year-old former Baggies defender Curtis Davies, who made a return to action yesterday in the FA Cup as a sub yesterday following his shoulder surgery, to move on loan to Celtic. MON told Sky Sports: ‘I wouldn’t be in a position to be wanting to loan players out at this stage. The reason being, of course, is that if you do it internationally between two countries – and Celtic and ourselves would be that – you’d have to do it for the whole of the season. While it would be great for some of the younger players to get maybe a month’s football, we may well need Curtis. Things can happen here. A loan would be absolutely out of the question, especially for a season loan.

The Sunday Mirror today claim we are after 22-year-old Togo and Lens attacking midfielder Razak Boukari who apparently is available for around £3million. Everton are also linked.

Wiki Wiki? I think so! Very brief profile on him: Click Here

The News of the World say that Villa are after Wigan goalie Mike Pollitt? Don’t be daft! We have two Brad’s – Brad the Younger – Brad the Older – and veteran Andy Walker for cover.

What else? Oh yes, we are linked with Joaquín Boghossian, who currently plays for Newell’s Old Boys of Argentina in the Birmingham Mail

Wiki Wiki? Why not! Click Here (11 goals in 18 games, rubbish record that!!!!!!)

And:

MON on the Rangers striker Kris Boyd link: ‘I was surprised at that. I had seen it on the television tickertape that he was signing for us’ adding ‘There is absolutely no truth in the story.’

I’m told that Fernando Torres will not be moving to Man City in a £100million summer transfer but will instead move to Villa for a quarter of that as he has a release clause in his contract allowing him to move closer to the home town of his idols, Black Sabbath. The Ozzy mad Liverpool striker is coming, trust me my sources (special brew) are impeccable.
