There are numerous reports today that Happy Harry has secured Brad Friedel for Spurs on a two year contract.
With constant links to Albion, Liverpool or Spurs, it certainly seemed like Brad had options despite us putting a 12 month extension on the table, but you can certainly see the interest in Spurs with rumours that Gomes will be moving on.
For Brad, if he doesn’t remain with us, Spurs would be the most likely shot at more regular first team action because I just don’t see the Baggies links being true, especially when you factor in a final, proper shot at Europe compared to his European experiences with us.
There are obviously no official quotes or anything like that yet, but you’d have thought if Brad was going to be taking us up on a 1 year extension he’d have already signed the deal by now with how long it’s been on the table.
If he does go, I doubt you’ll find many Villans with a bad word to say about him.
