With the domestic season over, Brad Guzan will be jetting around the World with the USA team so should return fitter than ever.

Brad, Brad’s understudy, heads towards the States shortly for two important World Cup qualifiers. They face Costa Rica on June 3, followed by Honduras 3 days later.

Once that has been wrapped up, the US team then turn their attention to the Confederations Cup in South Africa, where they have the simple task of facing Italy, Brazil and Egypt in the group stages.

Guzan might not be getting much of a summer break, but he’s certainly not complaining as he told the official site:

‘I’m heading to the US for training for a week then we play two qualifiers back there.

‘Then straight after that we fly to South Africa for the Confederations Cup for the whole month of June.

‘I think after that the plans is to have a week or maybe two weeks off for a bit of a break then report back for pre-season.

‘So it is going to be a busy summer for me, but it’ll be an enjoyable one.’
