Paul Lambert has said that Brett Holman was probably a little worried when we changed managers, but he’s looking forward to working with him.
Speaking to the Official Site following our opening day of training, Lambert said he had been impressed with Holman and he’s looking for him to add some fresh impetus into the team:
‘I have come in at a time when he’s probably feeling a little bit of trepidation. I have watched little clips and he’s a good footballer. Hopefully he does well here and we get the best out of him, he will bring fresh impetus and I’m looking forward to seeing him play.’
If he was feeling a little worried after the departure of Eck, I’d imagine the club involving him so much in things like the kit launch would certainly allay any fears that he wouldn’t play a part under Lambert.
