Worrying times indeed at Villa.

Gerard Houllier reacted after the game telling the official site that the quick goals flattened Villa, also mentioning the second was off side.

‘I think the first goal really affected our morale. We are not the most confident team at the moment and we are aware of that. We were on the back of three defeats so obviously the first goal looked as if it stunned us a bit. The second goal was offside but it was a vital goal because it means that the game is over.”

He also says who knows what might have happened if Gabby Agbonlahor had taken his chance. Hmmm, think we only had the one chance the whole game didn`t we?!

A Liverpool mate of mine sent me a text asking if I was worried yet and said we made Babel look world class ‘which honestly mate, he isn`t!`

Anyway, the under pressure Villa boss added he knew once we were two down it would be difficult to get back into the game.

The strange this is he says he thinks they need to address the confidence of both the ‘players and staff`.

I`m sorry, if they don`t have confidence in what they are doing….?

Gulp.
