When did you become a Villa fan and why?

Born in my blood and spoonfed the beautiful game and Villa. I’m 4th generation.

What is your favourite Villa moment of all time/most treasured memory?

Oh God only one! 1982 European Cup.

If you could bring back a former Villa player into this team (at his peak) who would it be and why?

Only one again! That’s impossible. Sir Brian Little then.

How do you rate head coach Dean Smith’s time in charge so far?

One word: excellent and besides that excellent. Down to earth, loves Villa, loves his job, maybe we have our own version of Fergie (without the hairdryer though please) rare of his standard and quality left and he is ours.

Best and worst moments of last season?

A/ The idiot who attacked Jack on the pitch. Scary as to what he could have done.
B/ Only one it could be; the final whistle at Wembley when we were promoted.

Your opening opinions on Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens?

Know sport, know what they’re doing! Have a plan, down to earth and hell think we might just be onto something here! I’m still in disbelief.

Tyrone Mings has arguably been the standout loan signing, but we only have a matching offer clause. Would you break the proverbial bank to secure his signature or do you go for Tammy Abraham?

Jack Grealish has proven himself to be a key man, how do you rate his development?

Really come into his own, grown up and showed us what he really can do. Piece of brilliance by Dean giving him the captain’s armband.

John McGinn if anyone can catch him.

Sir Brian Little.

Hope’s for the coming campaign?

To be back in to the Prem and have a solid season. Hope the fans will be patient. The majority will. Always going to be a few that aren’t.
