Darn it, not again! Phillips missed last Saturdays game against Newcastle suffering from a bug, now he could miss the trip to Bolton having twisted his ankle in training yesterday.
The 32 year old former Sunderland and Southampton striker has already missed games due to a calf strain and the club are now having to wait on scan results to see how badly he has injured his ankle. With Angel bang out of form, Baros needs a regular partner up front to try to start earning Villa a few wins. Before his bug Phillips had pushed Angel out of contention for seven games. He has scored three league and one Carling Cup goal so far this season. Lets hope recovers quickly, if the team supply the chances he’ll take 9 out of 10 of them.
