Kyle Naughton Linked To Villa

Good heavens we really are struggling today for transfer links!

I thought they`d have really heated up by now, I guess the Euro`s have taken most of the attention!

The only snippet at the moment has the Daily Mail linking us to 23-year-old Spurs right-back Kyle Naughton.

Naughton spent last season with Lambert on loan at Norwich.

Apparently Norwich have already contacted Spurs with a £4million offer but Villa are expected to come in for him.

Naughton was a product of Sheffield United’s centre of excellence and academy.

The Norwich official site page says:

The highly rated attacking full-back shone for Sven Goran Eriksson’s Leicester City during a loan spell in the 2010-11 Championship season, and earned a place in the PFA’s Championship Team of the Season, alongside City’s Wes Hoolahan and Grant Holt.

An England Under-21 international, Naughton adds some important defensive depth to the Norwich City squad. He also carries a goal threat, having notched an impressive five goals for Leicester last season, including screamers against Barnsley and Coventry City.
