Week one of the international break is over and this time next week we’ll be looking forward to club action returning at the weekend.
Villa take on Blackburn before heading to Sheffield Wednesday to take on former manager Steve Bruce as we continue to chase a play-off spot.
Certainly, we’re looking in with a good chance of doing that this season now, as well, and it could just turn out that Henri Lansbury plays a role before the end of the year.
Indeed, he is back in training and has been for a couple of weeks now with him posting this up on Instagram yesterday:

He’s all smiles, then, and it could come at a perfect time for us.
He obviously isn’t a nailed on first-team starter with the options we have but when he is fit and on form he remains a real asset for us.
What his future holds remains to be seen but it is clear that he is back at an ideal time for us.
