Matthew Lowton has said the point from today was fantastic because we had to end our losing run.
Speaking to the Birmingham Mail following the game, Lowton said:
‘It’s a fantastic point. We’ve had a tough three fixtures, and two defeats coming into this one, it was vital we got a point. We need to keep the momentum into Tuesday night.’
Andreas Weimann also got amongst the interviews tonight, adding that he believes everybody can see how the team have improved over the last few fixtures, so the points will follow:
‘I think we’ve been playing quite well the last few weeks. Against United we did well, and then City, I think we were well in the game until the penalty. We showed that we’re really a team. Everyone ran their socks off for each other and I think it’s a great point in the end.’
