David O’Leary has said that James Milner is 50/50 for the crunch FA Cup clash against Manchester City on Tuesday night.

Milner had to pull out of the weekends action against Blackburn Rovers having suffered from stomach cramps in the warm up. Luke Moore stood in for him on the right but has since said he hopes Milner is back and fit because he doesn’t like playing out wide.

O’Leary told the official site: ‘I’m definitely not ruling him out of the game. He’s just the right side of 50-50 at the moment. He’s had some tests today and the virus pretty much knocked him out. But he’s a strong boy and he’s desperate to play. I’ll know more this evening and we’ll give him as long as we possibly can, because he’s been an important player for us this season.’

Lets just hope if he isn’t fit that O’Leary plays Lee Hendrie, an experienced right sided midfielder, as opposed to Luke Moore, who should be up front from the start. Hey, this management business is easy!
