No, nothing like Big Girls Don’t Cry, Stiliyan Petrov has rallied the troops ahead of tonight’s Cup Final Semi Final 2nd Leg Final against Blackburn.

Speaking on the Official Site our Captain Bulgaria has told the team to keep calm, remain composed, and at all costs (should he be playing) ignore all temptation to boot the living ***** out of Diouf.

Well admittedly he didn’t say the last bit, but I bet he’s thinking it. I do, I bet he’s is! Well at least I am, does that count?

Anyhoo, he has called on the squad to show the same attitude and mental toughness that saw us take the first leg by a goal margin and he has absolute faith in the youngsters in the squad (are Delboy and Delph playing?) will acquit themselves well and although they may be a little cold, he’s sure they won’t freeze due to the occasion.

‘It is going to be a very tough game. But if we have the same attitude, we are confident we can be the winners after the game.

‘I’ll be delighted for all the young boys if they can make that trip to Wembley and see what it is all about. That will drive them on and make them determined to get there every single year.’

He finishes by saying the squad desperately want to bring some silverware back to the club to reward the fans for being ‘outstanding’.
