(sorry for delay folks, Fieldy had a migraine and I was at the game)
Martin O’Neill spoke after the game telling The Official Site that it was the ‘elusive’ second goal that stopped Villa from winning against Sunderland last night.
It was such a shame as Manchester City dropped points last night and we could have really pushed on:
‘We were disappointed in the dressing room but the Manchester City result keeps us still there and it’s going to be really tight.’
Adding, ‘We pressed and pressed and tried to get the goal. If we had done so we would have deserved to have done. I am naturally disappointed.’
He also admits the amount of draws are starting to really cost.
‘Tonight obviously I feel were points dropped.’
