Manager Steve Bruce has held his pre game press conference ahead of Saturday’s clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers – it’s also a reunion with The Wibbler so at least this week Paul Lambert has an excuse to talk about us and attempt to rewrite history.
No doubt Wolves have been excellent, they’ll go again….blah blah.
Enough of that.
Having missed out on the trip to White Hart Lane with illness, Gary Gardner is recovering but Bruce confirmed the Wolves game would probably come too soon for him as he only returned to training earlier today.
However we are set to welcome back Mile Jedinak and Nathan Baker from their respective injuries.
Jedinak has been suffering with a thigh problem and Baker picked up a back problem in the game against Tottenham but both have been in training this week so should be able to be called upon.
Speaking to the Official Site to give an update on squad news, Bruce explained.
‘Nathan is fine. He has trained all week. Gary hasn`t really trained at all this week except for today. We will see how he is but it will probably be too early for him.’
‘Mile has had a knock as well. We will see how he is but we think he will be fine. Other than that, we are absolutely fine.’
