Grealish has made 19 appearances in all competitions, scoring and creating four goals. The attacking-midfielder has been tasked by Dean Smith to score more goals and make more assists by being in the area.
His plan worked to perfection on Sunday, with Grealish heading home from inside the area to put the Villans ahead and they went on to win the game 4-2. Grealish has now contributed three goals in as many league appearances.
Since making his debut for the Midlands outfit, Grealish has gone on to make 129 appearances in all competition, scoring 11 goals and making 17 assists. He’s represented England at u21 level and hopes to represent the first-team in the near future.
If he can maintain his form, Gareth Southgate could reward Grealish with a call-up, but he still has a lot of work to do.
