The summer window is not far off now and, though many will be concerned more about the league battle at the moment, focus will soon switch.

Regardless of what league we are in for next season, it is evident that some changes need to be made to freshen this squad up and reports over the weekend have suggested that will be the case.

Indeed, Dean Smith is being tipped to be ruthless this summer window with various outlets suggesting exits are on the way.

According to the Sun’s Alan Nixon, Mile Jedinak is on the cull list whilst the Daily Star has Albert Adomah and Glenn Whelan also apparently in the firing line.

And, to be honest, it is probably needed.

Whilst I would argue there is still a case to keep Whelan for one more year I think the likes of Jedinak and Adomah have had their time at the club.

It’s time to bring in some fresh faces and Smith will be looking to do that.
