Aston Villa head coach Dean Smith has been meeting with the media today to preview the upcoming Championship clash with Reading on Saturday.
We head to the Madejski Stadium with pretty much the same lads available as our last game. Speaking to the Youtube channel of the Official Site, Smith confirmed that Jack Grealish remained sidelined for this game as he continues his own comeback from injury, and Henri Lansbury remains out of action.
The third player ruled out is Axel Tuanzebe but that’s no surprise. Andre Green is the doubt for the game given the problem he appeared to pick up this last week, but the injury list is shrinking which can only be a bonus.
Having completed the capture of Bournemouth’s Tyrone Mings, Smith also commented that he’d been fit all season so he does come into contention for this weekend, but the gaffer wouldn’t state if he was definitely going to be in our starting lineup or just involved on the bench as he continues to settle in.
