Steve McClaren, so called England manager – although lets hope not for long – has put Villa captain Gareth Barry in the England B squad for a match against Albania.

Jeez, well done McClaren, Barry really needs to prove himself at that level doesn’t he?

Barry is part of a 20-man squad for the game at Turf Moor with Michael Owen also named, something that will no doubt delight Newcastle United chairman fat Freddy Shepherd who wanted Owen to rest through the summer to get fit to play for the Barcodes.
