The Birmingham Mail say that reports in France continue to claim that Jordan Amavi is still a target for Marseille. No links for this one but apparently French reports in La Provence and L`Equipe are claiming the full back has had a written contract offer.
Can he have? Surely the Clubs need to agree a fee first? Apparently they`ve offered £10m but Villa have already claimed that they turned down £25million for the player. According to The Telegraph the bid came in from a mystery Chinese club.
But again, would you really turn down £25m for any of our players? Is he really THAT good?
As I said in: Villa Prove Their Financial Muscle Rejecting £25m Bid? if they have turned that down, then this club must be loaded funding wise and that`s not the worst news us Villans could hear is it?

The Mirror say that Jordan Ayew could be making a move to Swansea. Fingers crossed. Such a shame, when he`s in the mood and things are going his way, he looks a decent player but…………….. He cost us £8million from Lorient. I`d think if Villa can get that back, it wouldn`t be a bad deal?
UPDATED According to Sky Sports my Vital Forest editor is soon going to be very annoyed with us! Their sources ‘understand` (I love how they say that!) that Villa are set to bid for Nottingham Forest captain Henri Lansbury. Read more: Nottingham Forest Captain Linked To Villa Switch
Scott Hogan was being linked to Aston Villa (amongst others) but I could only see the rumours on twitter and facebook, nothing firm (not that the paper links are any firmer really!) However Sky Sports are linking the Brentford striker to RB Leipzig. They also say West Ham are interested.
