With the Coronavirus pandemic bringing football in the country to an end, it was inevitable that the media would bounce back to transfers and speculation and this week the Turkish versions of ‘The Sun’ have gone into overdrive when it came to Aston Villa.
Earlier in the week, we had pretty baseless reports suggesting that Besiktas were looking to loan Trezeguet next season and that Galatasaray were interested in Mbwana Samatta.

Nothing in these reports suggests the interest is genuine and they typically rely on the fact that Villa return to the Championship next season and hold the assumption that we have to sell, but there is now a quote from Trabzonspor president, Ahmet Agaoglu, doing the rounds.
“We are following England, getting players from the relegated teams is a sensible strategy. It’s also economically good for us.”
This quote has now been latched onto Marvelous Nakamba to drag him into the mix.
I’d expect all three to be with us next season, regardless of what now happens with the 2019/20 campaign.
