The tickets for our summer pre-season tournament .. namely The Peace Cup, are on sale and Martin O’Neill said on the official site that the competition should be ‘interesting’ but laments the fact Villa won’t now be facing Celtic who have pulled out of the competition. Stiliyan Petrov says that that 31-year-old Villa striker Emile Heskey will settle and show his true colours (I’m assuming they are now claret and blue?!) next season. ‘Emile is an outstanding player. He is an England regular so that proves just how good a player he is. He has added further quality to the squad. Sometimes players just need a bit longer to settle in. Emile will come good next season.’
