News is a bit thin on the ground at the moment, the only talk is the UEFA Cup build up and the mixed reactions! Gareth Barry agreed that the decision was difficult for the Villa boss and said he can see why players might need a rest ahead of Stoke at the weekend. James Milner says Villa can still win adding that CSKA are a good team but says Villa also have plenty of good players, not just the first choice 11.

Vital Villa asked how seriously MON should take the team selection for the UEFA: 46% said MON should take the selections VERY seriously by playing the best 36% voted ‘Fairly – play some of the 2nd string’ and just 14% thought he shouldn’t take it seriously and should play the 2nd string.
